Brabazon can be accessed by car via two main routes: 

• Runway Avenue, from the A38 Gloucester Road 
• Fairlawn Avenue, from Hayes Way via the Blenheim roundabout 

On arrival, follow on-site signage to the most appropriate parking location for your destination or learn more about visitor parking here. 

Please note: Bristol city centre operates a Clean Air Zone, which may affect some journeys. 

Metrobus (m4) 

The m4 Metrobus now runs directly through Brabazon, with services running every 20 minutes. 

Metrobus stops are located on Runway Avenue East and at Brabazon Park, providing direct access to the neighbourhood.

Other Local Bus Services 

Additional First Bus services stop nearby at Cribbs Causeway Bus Station, from which you can connect with the m4 Metrobus or stroll to Brabazon (approx. 25-30 minutes). Plan

WESTlink (on‑demand bus) 

WESTlink’s on‑demand bus service serves Brabazon. Journeys can be booked via the WESTlink app, website or phone. 

Brabazon is easy to reach by bike, with multiple routes connecting the neighbourhood to North Bristol and beyond. Cyclists can approach Brabazon via the same key corridors used by pedestrians, buses and general traffic. 

Cycle routes into Brabazon include segregated lanes and shared‑use paths designed to support a wide range of users and link into Bristol’s wider cycle network. 

Secure cycle parking is available across the site near key destinations, including Spitfire Hangar and Mokoko Bakery.

You can reach Brabazon by train using nearby stations, with onward travel by bus, taxi or on foot. 

• Bristol Parkway station – approximately a 10‑minute taxi journey 
• Bristol Patchway station – around a 5‑minute taxi ride or 30‑minute stroll 
• Filton Abbey Wood station – approximately a 10‑minute taxi journey

Bristol Patchway station is currently under construction and is due to open in Autumn 2026, providing direct rail connections into the heart of the neighbourhood. 

Bristol Airport connects the city with destinations across the UK and Europe. Brabazon is around a 30‑minute drive from the airport. Taxis, car hire and onward bus connections via the city centre are available. 

Brabazon is served by a range of on‑demand travel options: 

• Local taxi services 
• App‑based services including Uber and Bolt 
• DOTT e‑scooters and e‑bikes in the surrounding area

Availability may vary by time of day. 

Contractors and delivery drivers should report to the YTL Developments' Site Operations Centre at Gloucester Road North, Filton, BS34 7QH.
