The first two residential buildings will welcome students for the start of the 2026 academic year, providing 745 modern student bedrooms. A further two buildings will follow the following year, taking the total number of beds to more than 1,500 and making The Propeller Quarter one of the largest purpose-built student accommodation destinations in the UK.
Modern Student Homes, Designed Around Wellbeing
Students can choose from a range of fully furnished room types, including shared en-suite cluster flats, private studios and accessible rooms. Utilities and high-speed internet are all included, helping to make budgeting simpler.
Beyond the bedrooms, The Propeller Quarter has been designed to support every aspect of student life, with dedicated study spaces, an onsite gym, outdoor wellbeing areas, a cinema lounge, karaoke and gaming rooms, plus music and content creation studios.
Rooms currently start from £180 per week, offering an affordable option in a city where accommodation costs remain a key consideration for many students and families.
Connected To Bristol's Best Universities
Located just minutes from UWE Frenchay and with direct transport links to campuses across the city, The Propeller Quarter puts students at the heart of Bristol.
The new Bristol Brabazon railway station, due to open this autumn, will provide quick connections across the city, including the University of Bristol's new Enterprise Campus. Dedicated Metrobus services already connect Brabazon with destinations throughout Bristol.
More Than Just Somewhere To Live
Students living at The Propeller Quarter will be among the first to experience life in Brabazon, the South West's newest city district.
From independent food and drink destinations and community events to padel courts, immersive golf experiences and a new food quarter planned for next year, there will be plenty to do on the doorstep. Nearby Spitfire Hangar, home to Mokoko Bakery, regularly hosts markets, events and social activities, while Cribbs Causeway is just minutes away.
Future residents will also have a front-row seat to the transformation of Brabazon, including the arrival of the 20,000-capacity Aviva Arena, set to become one of the UK's most exciting destinations for live entertainment.
